Foundation for California Community Colleges

California faced a critical shortage of skilled workers in the forestry sector. Challenges included negative perceptions of the industry among young people, limited diversity, and a lack of awareness about available opportunities.

Our team produced compelling videos, executed a strategic advertising campaign across platforms like Meta and Snapchat, effectively reaching underserved communities and younger demographics. Campaigns were aligned with the Good Jobs Challenge grant goals, ensuring the messaging was relevant to local communities and emphasized workforce development opportunities.

Strengthening Community Colleges Consortium

Strengthening Community Colleges (SCC) Grant Consortium partnered with 25th Hour Communications to elevate the research, branding, and promotion of Competency-Based Education (CBE) programs for Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) and consortium colleges, Indian Hills Community College and Hawkeye Community College.

The creative team at 25th Hour developed a cohesive SCC CBE brand identity, including
a logo, color palette, and messaging toolkit. The tagline, "Your Schedule, Your Success," emphasized flexibility and accessibility. A dedicated microsite was created to centralize program
information, featuring customized resources for students, faculty, and employers. Audience-specific campaigns, using testimonials, infographics, and multilingual content connected with non-traditional students, career changers, and underserved communities.

Region III Workforce Development Board

The Region III Workforce Development Board of Kanawha County was looking to build their presence and following on social media, while raising awareness about the different services they offer for both employers and job seekers.

Taking data from past social media posts, we created graphics and copy that proved to resonate with these target audiences, and allowed us to A/B test for future campaigns. The above industry average click-through rate, shows us that there is a great need for the services that Region III provides in Kanawha County. After getting great responses from our first campaign, Region III asked our creative team to go on-site to record, direct and produce stellar testimonial video assets to prove the successes that the organization has seen in past job seekers.
